Man Lives A Day With A Knife Stabbed In His Back

MOSCOW - A Russian electrician wondered about a whole day with a knife stabbed in his back without he or someone else noticing. As Russian newspapers reported last Thursday:

The 53-year-old Yuri Lialin went drinking after work with colleagues in the factory.  He got into an argument with the security officer who stabbed a knife 6 inches deep in his back. Mr. Lialin was so drunk that he did not notice it and passed out.

The next morning, he woke and went to work, but his chief sent him back home to sober up. And even then nobody saw the knife between his shoulders. He staggered home and went to sleep. His wife woke him up a few hours later when she discovered the knife. Lialins response to the knife incident: “We were all drunk, such things just happen.”
