A couple are tying the knot this weekend - 22 years after they were born next to each other in the same hospital ward.
Kelly Robinson and Dale Wilson were born just three days apart at Northampton General Hospital, with their mothers recovering in adjacent beds.
They lived separate lives until they were introduced by a mutual friend in 2006 - exactly 20 years and one day since they first ‘met’, reports the Daily Telegraph.
But the pair only realised their connection when their mums got together and started talking about their births.
Miss Robinson, a team manager at Barclaycard from West Hunsbury, Northamptonshire, said: “I think it is destiny.
“Everything fell into place when we got together. It felt like we’d known each other for ever.
“It’s so strange how we’ve met again and fallen in love. I can’t imagine it happening to anyone else. I feel so lucky I’ve found Dale.”
The couple were re-introduced by Emma Smith - who went to the University of Northampton with Miss Robinson and is a childhood friend of Mr Wilson’s.
Miss Robinson said there was an instant attraction between them, so - after a whirlwind five-month romance - the pair decided to get hitched.
The wedding will take place at St John the Baptist Church in Kingsthorpe, Northamptonshire, on 9 August - followed by a honeymoon in Cyprus.

A MAN died in a bondage session after his partner bound and gagged him at their Sunshine Coast home then left to take a shower, a court has been told.
Jean Margaret Meiers, 58, today faced the Supreme Court in Brisbane and pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of Geoffrey Braunack, 47, on November 1, 2004.
She is accused of failing in her duty of care after taping the mouth of her de facto husband and using rope, tape and a dog chain to tie him to a concrete post on their Beerburrum patio.
The court was told Ms Meiers left her tied-up partner to take a shower and when she returned he was not moving.
Ms Meiers put bulldog clips on Mr Braunack’s nipples and slapped his face to try to wake him before she cut him down and called an ambulance, the court was told.
Paramedics were unable to revive Mr Braunack, who died from asphyxia.
Reuters: A naked model photographed using Peru’s flag as a saddle while mounted on a horse will face charges that could put her in jail for up to four years for offending patriotic symbols, the country’s defence minister said.
The suggestive shot of Leysi Suarez, whose main job is dancing for the band Alma Bella, or Beautiful Soul, was splashed on the cover of DFarandula magazine and has caused a political uproar as Peru prepares to celebrate the 187th anniversary of its independence from Spain on Monday.
“These are patriotic symbols that demand total respect, and using them improperly requires punishment,” defence Minister Antero Flores told reporters. “This is an offence.”
Flores has ordered a public prosecutor to take up the case and file charges.
Suarez said it was patriotic to pose for the photo.
“I haven’t committed a crime. I love Peru and show it with my body and soul,” the dancer said on RPP radio.
Mario Amoretti, a well-known lawyer, said it depends in part on how Peru’s red-and-white flag was used.
“It’s one thing to cover your body with the flag, but quite another thing to be naked and using it as a horse’s saddle,” he said.
The photos were republished on the website of Peru’s El Comercio newspaper.

The man fought with officers after being pulled from the water and was shot, police say.

But Hirschfield began fighting with police as soon as he was on board, said San Diego Harbor Police Sgt. Dave Fouser.
“You’re trying to help some guy out the water, and he’s fighting,” Fouser said. “He became very combative with the officers, and somewhere in the course of the fight, he was able to get one of the officer’s Tasers away from him.”
Fouser said Hirschfield knocked one officer to the deck and then used the Taser to strike him in the face.
When Hirschfield then tried to grab one of the officer’s guns, Fouser said, the other officer shot him.
Hirschfield was taken ashore to an ambulance and was pronounced dead from the single gunshot wound, Fouser said.
The San Diego Police Department’s homicide unit was investigating the shooting along with the San Diego Harbor Police Department and the county District Attorney’s Office.
It’s unclear how many of the 800 passengers on the party cruise saw the incident, but police said they took the names and contact information for all those on board.
A TASMANIAN man caught downloading images of sexual acts with an octopus has avoided a jail term.
Rodney Scott McLagan, 48, of South Arm in Hobart was caught with 31,000 images and video files involving sexual acts with children, dogs, ponies, snakes, tigers and an octopus.
Justice David Porter said McLagan had a personality disorder that caused him to avoid interpersonal contact and gave him a pre-occupation with being criticised or rejected, The Mercury reported today.
“Without the opportunity for normal sexual relationships fantasy is often indulged,” the judge said yesterday.
“It also emerges from the report that you are particularly self-conscious about your teeth.” story continues here

THREE journalists were hurt when a gun went off at a press conference called by Chinese police to highlight the success of a gun-control campaign.
The press conference in Nanchong in Sichuan province was to publicize the results of a campaign by the city’s police to seize illegal weapons, the Beijing News reported.
According to Zheng Chongjun, deputy head of the political division of Nanchong police, some of the reporters asked to take photos of the guns seized, the newspaper reported.
One of the police officials mishandled a homemade weapon, releasing the trigger and dropping it.
It was unclear from the report whether the gun contained bullets or shotgun pellets but it said one journalist needed surgery after being hit in the ankle, crotch, and chest.
